Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi I hope someone could point me in the right direction here!

I am trying to find a program that will allow me to save a tutorial from a website, Just so i can work at my own speed, Now i understand that this type of clip is designed not to be saved ,but it would make life a bit easier if i could, does any one have any idea what to use?

    Regards

    Bandit

If you have Firefox, there's an add-on I use called NetVideoHunter that can grab anything like this and download it. It's very simple to use.

If it's a flash video file, the easiest way to take it down is to install the free version of Realplayer.

Get Realplayer Free by clicking the Free Realplayer SP button.
    http://europe.real.com/realplayer/

When this is installed and you go to youtube etc etc, you will have a prompt beside each video which you can click on to download the video as a .FLV file.

Once you have the file downloaded you can open it in Realplayer or else one of the many free FLV players like VLC player.
