Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Do you ever find youself "lol" ing instead of laughing or rofl and lmaoing.

    Do you ever use ftw! to settle and arguement or shout In Before the Lock if the shop which was just closing lets you in...

    Do you find youself thinking, i'll put that up on boards later when someone tells you a funny story
    Or say "I'll ask on boards" when you need to find or know somethin?

    I do sometimes but only to p1ss people off. Like if someone tell a really crappy joke or tries to be funny i'll go....... ah hh ha ha ha lol lol lol then look and point at my wrist(watchless) and walk off.

    I find myself saying lol to myself when someone says something that they think is funny but I don't. It like my default way of saying "not funny, but thanks for trying".

    Yeah, all the time. I say ''LoL'' instead laughing out loud, I've always say ''FTW" about something good or exciting , and of course, "Fail!" if I do something stupid or to slag somebody else.

    My friends now hate me for these extremely annoying habits.

    ive never said lol, but i have thought it before..

    as for shouting 'In before the lock!' in a shop...the mental image is quite funny i must say!

    constantly have questions/stories for boards..mostly for the motoring section though, cos i drive a lot and spend a lot of time with cars.

    As I mentioned in another thread last week , when you talk online you have no eye contact - you cant see someone's body language or hear the nuances in their voice .

    The 'lol's , 'rotfl' smileys, etc never tell or give the true picture, and never will .

    But they fill the gaps I suppose .

    Yeah i used to aleays say nom before i discovered boards,so i dont mind that, but "hai"? You have an interesting sense of humour if you find that funny :pac:

    I do find it creeping in sometimes. For instance if I was describing something funny to a friend I might say 'It's really good, I lol'd'.

    It sounds ridiculous though so I try and stop myself.
