Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wide Angle Lens - inexpensive recommendation?

Firstly got a brilliant 200mm lens recommendation from this forum and it is working out great for me. I am also a novice photo taker.

Now I am looking for a 3rd lens for my digital Canon SLR - i.e. wide-angle but initial googling around and appears these are quite expensive.

Anyone have good recomemdations for an amateur quality cheap wide angle?

    Thanks in advance...

...showing my amateurishness now! Maybe a 10mm? - but will come down to a cost/benefit decision where cost will be a more important factor.

Would €300-400 break the bank? If not then you can't go wrong with the sigma 10-20mm

You could try messing around with something like that. The quality won't be brilliant, but it should let you wet your feet without breaking the bank. That doubles as a macro filter, so 2 for 1 :D
