A Higher National Diploma (HND) is a UK Edexcel (BTEC) qualification while an Advanced Cert is an Irish qualification at Level 6 on the Irish Framework. The HND is mapped over to the Ireish Framework at Level 6.

The Irish Framework has 10 levels while the UK framework has only 8 so there have been mapped (matched up).
