    Anyone doing this?
Welsh clubs will play irish clubs in a competition you will play a club of similar abilities the nation with the most wins wins
If you win your game you receive a trophy.
    it in week 16
It sounds good. It is a good chance for anyone to get their club noticed.

I'd love to apply, but with my squads shocking stamina levels I dont think I can this season

I have signed up to this tournie also - should be a nice way to finish the season as league is a bit easy and unfortunately not been in cup since round 6:(

the boards cup being the highlight of the week - and sadly enough reading jeffs journal (all in reference to Blackout of course...not the actual highlight of the week...that would be a bit sad!!)

Hmmm you might be right about that - getting busy in work so life infront of the computer will be increasing rapidly!:(

    Lower standard my Ar$e !!

I have been paired with a team that have total CSR of 400k in the starting 15.

    I come in at only 250K. :o

How the hell am I supposed to even compete with that ?

You will find your opposition under the friendlies section.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,542 ✭✭✭eoferrall

 yikes 400k versus 250k! Can't wait to see mine when I get home this evening!

on a side note how do you tot your CSR? is it all from BRAT or is there some stats page I am missing on opposition etc?!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,386 ✭✭✭jprender

It looks like you are up against a team called

    Wye Valley Forge.

Haven't checked out the team but the manager only joined on the 7th of September.

You are only ranked 4 places below me on the Irish List.
    I get a super-team and you get a newbie !!

    I think I have been shafted :D

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,542 ✭✭✭eoferrall

Excellent Stuff! Sounds like I have a good chance so!:D

Don't be bitter now!;) must investigate this fully when I get home and start formulating LTNT matches and recovery times etc and player energy levels so I am ready to go.

Go to your friendlies page and on the left where it has requests made and requests sent there is a new line for gaelic showdown

    FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,542 ✭✭✭eoferrall

So then having imported them into BRAT am I the only one happy with my Welsh team? :D

    Heavier front row, check
taller second row, check (inch or two counts right!)
average CSR of my back, 3k csr higher, check!
CSR or forwards roughly the same.

Now all I need to do is ensure I have enough energy to LTNT them and (hopefully) secure a win.

19 players over 20K CSR and better than my best player, 3 of them have over 70k CSR and are U20 internationals. I'm in for hiding. Just hope the Welsh boys don't mutilate or horribly disfigure any of my lads:)

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,238 ✭✭✭Gelio

    Damn, they accepted.

Just realised this is on the 12th not tomorrow:o
