Team event - help needed regards points system

    There is a team event running today which i need help with a points system for.

    No of players 30-42

    Players per team 3

    I assume that say there is 30 players that the first 15 lose points and last 15 gain points.

    What should i start points at to deduct from eg...100

    How should i stagger points lost and won.

    Heres how it mite work .

    Each Team starts with 200 Points

    Each player loses points and gain points as they go along until the end

    42nd - (- 100)
    41 - (-100)
    40 - (-95)
    39- (-90)
    38- (-85)
    37- (-80)
    36- (-75)
    35- (-70)
    34- (-65)
    33- (-60)
    32- (-55)
    31- (-50)
    30- (-45)
    29- (-40)
    28- (-35)
    27- (-30)
    26- (-25)
    24- (-20)
    23- (-15)
    22- (-10)
    21- (-5)

    20 - (0)
    19 - +5
    18 -+10
    17 -( +15)
    16-( +20)
    15-( +25)
    14-( +30)
    13-( +35)
    12-( +40)
    11-( +45)
    10-( +50)
    9-( +55)
    8-( +60)
    7-( +65)
    6-( +70)
    5-( +75)
    4-( +80)

    Emmet the lad on my team came first for 140. Colm the red haired guy came 2nd for 100 and i got 80 for 3rd. I didnt really care once we had the team event won so i was able to relax for the individual 3rd was a bonus.

    You got pretty unlucky a good few times. Ye were unlucky not to come 2nd in the team event.
