Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Colin Murray has been binned from MOTD2 according to the Mail (yeah i know) its cos he was getting to cheeky about professional footballers and such like. Mark "Chappers" Chapman takes over, he had a good pop at Fergie recently so he could be an interesting host if the BBC let him be.

Sky to show full delayed coverage of all Premier League games from next season.
No more need to watch carefully selected highlights on MOTD.

Top Gear has been fairly meh for the last few years IMO. The episodes where they'RE travelling across some country/countries (Vietman for example) and where they are making their own vehicle (amphibious car :D) were always the best.

Probably attempting the impossible here, but anyone know how I could even attempt to try get a couple of tickets for either of the Ireland 6 nations games at the Aviva? Pretty sure my chances of getting them for face value are zilch, but don't mind paying a bit extra. Any ideas? :o

What a fooling drink that Tyskie. Served
me and my friends well in moments of glum and horror at Euros.

Tyskie probably the best drink in the world.

Okocim Mocne and Warka Strong taste better, but I guess it's all down to what you like. I prefer a bitter taste. And, Okocim Mocne is 7.1% vol. :D

Yup, and more than likely regretting it afterwards lol. Only watch 2/3 PPV's these days and this is one of them. Good chance to make some money too.

Royal Rumble. Christ I loved the royal rumble when young lad.

Is it still a 30 man event, where 2 start off, and then one comes in every minute?

    Not seen it in years.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,190 ✭✭✭✭IvySlayer

I used to be made into the wrestling when I was younger. Stone Cold, The Rock, Kane, Undertaker, Big Show, Kurt Angle, Triple H, Hardy Boyz

Most epic moment was Stone Cold coming to save WWF when WWF were getting smashed by ermmmm I forget :D

It's almost guaranteed now that I'll stay up watching the Royal Rumble and won't stroll into college 'til about one tomorrow..

    Touch site changed again
It was grand the last time, no pm icon now and a message to install web app appearing on nearly every page
Internal server error on the profile page.

I liked the last incarnation of the touch site. They only got it right recently, now they've gone and changed it again.

Anyone know how I can download tv series on my iPad. I'm happy to pay once its legit, the only thing is it has to be a download as oppose to a stream. I'm going away for a few months and can't rely on Internet access while I'm away. Any tips appreciated

Buy the tv series through iTunes no? Does that not allow it to be downloaded?

Got this text from Meteor this morning.

"You are approaching your 10GB Mobile Internet Add On allowance. You will then be charged 69c per day"

Does anybody know if that's unlimited usage a day for 69c or will I be capped or what?

They won't let you do it with an Irish billing address. There is the option of e
Setting up a uk one which allows it, but I thought there might be an alternative

Really! I didn't know that! Thats a bit stupid.
You could always acquire them and convert to MP4. Add to itunes library, sync to iPad.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,019 ✭✭✭✭adox

Its easy enough to find torrents(especially tv episodes) in MP4 format so just download them and no need to convert.

Alternatively, set up a UK or US itunes account and but some gift vouchers for the country online to credit our account and download from there.

This software is excellent and simple for all your audio and video conversions. The YouTube downloader is dead handy too.
I can't speak highly enough of it for what you get for zero spend.

Definitely this. Hate the look of the touch site, even though it's hard to switch pages of a thread on the m.boards.ie site.
