Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just rub some cooking oil onto the plaster, wait a few minutes, count up to ten and off we go :)

Lazy ass :P, I love cleaning my car will often spend anywhere from 5 to 8 hours doing it.

. I take it you don't have children.

1: If you did then you wouldn't have a spare 5 to 8 hours to clean your car and
2: You wouldn't bother cleaning it anyway cos it only takes the little monsters 2 mins to destroy 5 hours of cleaning

:pac: Nope no kids for me :).

Although if you look in the motors section on here you will find plenty with kids who would be even more OCD about keeping there car clean than I am, how they manage it I don't know.

I find they are the reason it takes 5-8 hours, my little lad follows me around the car undoing the cleaning I have just done, so it's like a loop until it either gets dark or too cold, then we just give up.

When you have kids you find ways to make things like cleaning a car take longer. Paying for petrol takes 5 minutes of glorious silence. Shopping suddenly takes several hours.

30? Ive been having 2 day hangovers for the past year and im only 27 now.

    Get bad hangovers nowadays.

I used never get them when 18-20 but then again I might only have 5/6 pints back then, even though you thought you could drink for Ireland.

Don't get hangovers. I just need to drink a gallon of water the next day.

I got one once. It was at Oxegen and we were drinking til about 4 and then I woke up at around 9 in a hot tent with the sun splitting the rocks outside. I got a pounding headache but it was soon cured with more cans.

I get hangover from Buckfast and Jaegerbombs. Woke up shivering and shaking, just feeling/thinking I was about to die in general, at half 6 in the morning there a few weeks ago after one particularly heavy night out. Went back to sleep and woke up fresh as a motherfúcker at about 12. The joys of being 18, wha'? :P

Went drinking yesterday, home early and had tea and Easter eggs while watching Hawaii 5-0.No hangover today.

My plan was to go on the beer today but going out yesterday cocked that up.At least I have GoT and Walking Dead to watch later.

    Shopping suddenly takes several hours.

And is actually something you dread doing every week.

Regular trip to Tesco for us involves

My son going dressed as Batman as he refuses to go anywhere without the costume.

20 minutes looking at Skylanders in Gamestop before we even get into Tesco.

    15 minutes looking at magazines.

Half an hour looking at toys.

    20 Minutes looking at DVD's

He will then stay in the trolley (aka the Batmobile) for two aisles before trying to climb out so he can take stuff off the shelves to put into the trolley, or looking for me to fight him because I am a 'henchman'.

And once we get past the cereal/sweet aisle, without fail he will want to go home.

On the plus side it's a decent work out. :D

Major childhood flashback. I had a Batman costume. I jumped off a bench/couch thing in a hotel/B&B bar and I hopped my knee off the ground and bawled. I was never allowed to be Batman again.

I'm watching a documentary in which actual, real life scientists are trying to say the remains of some unidentified creature are a f**king MERMAID!!!

I would have thought not being retarded was very high up on the list of requirements to be a scientist?

Edit: This is gas, has to be an April fools.
Camera phone footage of a beached mermaid :D

Reminds me of a question I heard.

You have to have sex with a mermaid. Do you choose:

    A. The top half human, bottom half fish.

    OR

    B. Top half fish, bottom half human.
