Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

reason i quite like Piers Morgan is two fold. 1-a girl i work with has his book, they're diaries basically, so i grabbed one off her one day when i was bored and he came across quite well in them. They're also ridiculously easy to read and perfect for reading in work or sitting on the jacks. He's a proper football fan and pretty funny in a snobby kinda way. 2nd reason is at the request of Brian Reade at The Mirror, when Piers was editor there, he did a lot of work for Justice For Hillsborough campaign, incl a front page spread calling for Justice.

Only caught the first half hour but wasnt Chris Kamara a bit quiet yesterday. Any fall out from that missing the penalty incident. Was expecting to see him make his first report with a big grin but he was dead serious.
    That show grates after awhile

Think he accumulated 6 yellows which gives an automatic 6 month ban.

I thought to myself WTF??? it took me a minute to realise that it was rugby, but the fact the championship table is on the bar on the right added to my confusion , and thinking that this was a football match :P

What's the difference between the Iceland volcano and Cheryl Cole?

The Iceland volcano is still blowing ash.

You may or may not know of the football blog that was founded within these walls, backpagefootball.

Well I don't like to plug here too much anymore, but today I just made this page for people to submit an interest in writing for the site - http://backpagefootball.com/write-for-us/

So if anyone's keen, fill in the forms on that link and see what happens.

    Cheers :)

The standard of pitches in Scotland is pretty bad.

Robbie Keane remarked on it a few weeks back

Was just at a Hurling match and a future Aston Villa player and Ireland youth player came on for his first game in a while (Unreal hurler but concetrating on the soccer) He was gettign flaked on unreal and after about 5 minutes nearly killed someone when he retaliated, then a row erupted after the match when their manager went after The young lad in question, could have blown over with a good 50 young lads ready to jump in. The joys of Minor Hurling.

It's how the good teams become great teams! :p

I can imagine the only way some one can get onto the Kilkenny team is to take out your opponent with a gun or a hurl if need be. It should be illegal to have that many great hurlers in one county.
