Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

That's a start is all it is...

Question would many people drink 6+ pints on a night out listening to the tv in the other room and they say 6pints = 3 pizza's

Had 5 bottles of beer tonight but I was entertaining a lady so was trying to stay cool and sophisticated.

Would expect 8+ pints on a night out.

Saturday at the Bolton game will have 8+ before kick-off.

Back to the topic but argument was that if this ad is being targetted at a young audiience its not responsible advertising.

    Hunky-Dorys-Ad-201x300.jpg

    Is this the ad?

    A) Don't see how it is targeting young people, unless they are putting it up in schools or something

    B) These kind of images are everywhere.

True there are many numpties on you tube but some of the comments are hilarious

One of them, yes, the girl in that ad is the best looking one in the whole range, the rest are just generic blonde models, imo.

Well it caught my attention, I have a hankering for Hunky Dorys and a game of Rugby now. It obviously works

    Nowt' wrong with those ads!!!!!

Some people just complain for the bloody sake of it:( and then tack on a women's excuse, or political excuse or religious excuse at the end

    Drive ya mad

Edit: If kids are supposed to be influenced by ads and all that stuff, won't it be a good thing to see them get out on a pitch!!

What? When it comes to beer?

I can be hit and miss when it comes to drink being honest.
Like last night I had 5 bottles of Corona and was "happy". But when I went on the rip in Manchester, I drank from 10 o clock that morning, to 3 o clock the following morning, while I was hammered drunk, I can still remember everything and wasn't falling around like a hobo.
(Although, I was DYING the next day :D )

Who ever came up with that add is a genius this is just like when ryanair did the paper add in France and it cost them a couple hundred thousand but the whole media fuss ment it was the equivelant of spending about 16m on advertising.
