Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Jesus lads I was a colossus tonight in defence at football, took 2 shots full force in the midriff, one in the balls and another in the face. Came home covered in blood and cut to shreds.

I can just see a field full of 12 year olds down the park in bits - legs hanging off, crying out for medics, being given the last rights then one boy being asked what happened before replying "We were just kickin around...he came outa nowhere man, like Steve Bruce or something" :D

    Good match so, yeah?! :p

    Sounds painful!

We had a match last night and one girl just bowled me over completely. She was like a bulldozer coming straight at me and when I hit the ground, I could hear my back cracking all the way up.

It was the first match of the league and we won 2 0. We're the first ladies team to have ever played in the town...historic night. We treated ourselves to KFC afterwards! :D

Ah right. Well when I was living in Thurles I couldn't get Broadband either. I still think the house I was in can't get broadband. Would have to ask relatives though. Pretty sure there is no broadband there still, I know there is coverage but none in the area I was in.

Was stuck with mobile broadband for 2 years.

30 megs nearly all over if I'm right. I know it's definitely in the Dublin/Kildare area. Pretty sure Meath and Laois too. Not as sure about the rest.

I was told about this drink by a barman last night. But he's a snakey bastard so I wouldn't trust him.:P
I just went for the old reliable Suddy and Lime.

As a barman I have to be honest - I fúckin hate when people do that unless its for a shot or cocktail, just order a morgan and orange! It's like boggers ordering 'brown cows' instead of avoiding confusion by ordering a tia maria and milk! /rant

That said I know the drink, imo its nicer with club orange, try it with club lemon too it's not bad...and a buddy I work with was telling me that morgan with lime tastes like loop the loops but haven't been out in ages so still waiting to try that one.

I waved goodbye to half my liver between the ages of 17-21 on that drink :( Loved Suddy before I moved onto Morgan and the delightful rum rage that goes with it :)

Try Suddy & 7up or Suddy and red lemonade they're both decent

Greatest drink of all time: The Stewey Byrne Special. named by some lunatics from Longford after Stewey Byrne former Longford Town and Shelbourne 9amongst others) midfielder.

Double Vodka, a Smirnoff Ice and a Red Bull in pint glass. Causes a certain type of insane drunkeness that I've never experienced before or since.

I can't stop drinking Sambuka and Jack Daniels shots when I'm out. Half and half. It's sweet.

"Lushtastic" is a drink we came up with years ago.

Buckfast, vodka and red bull all mixed in a saucepan.

Cue insanity and then a blackout

    1. Ring a person you know in scouseland
    2. Get him to rob some credit from a shop (he'll be well used to that)
    3. Get him to text you the top up code
    4. Do the top up

They'll be able to do it for you in any O2 shop, I've had to do it plenty of times.
