Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Getting a peark necklace made in Ireland

    Does anyone know where I could get a pearl/bead necklace made to my own design.

    I know exactly what I want but really have no jewellery making skills. Ideally I would like the place to be located in Cork but doesn't have to be.

    Maybe these people could help? http://www.edenjewellery.ie/ I've never used them myself, but one of teh girls in teh office's sister did for a piece for her weddiing and she was very happy with them?

    i give my wife a pearl necklace as often as she likes, have produce some nice designs if your interested....lol

    OP buy some cheap beads yourself to practice with first and then do it with the pearls. It's surprisingly easy (and significantly cheaper!!) to do it yourself!

    Thanks. If found a site where handmade necklaces are sold. I saw one almost the same as the one I want, just in the wrong colour.

    I have emailed the seller and asked could she custom make one for me. I haven't heard back but she does say to email if you want it in a different coliour so fingers crossed :)

    happyguy infracted. That's completely inappropriate. Post anything like that again and you will get a long ban. This also goes for everyone else.

    my girlfriends an artist. she doesn't normally work with pearls, beads and gemstones yes. i reckons she could put something together to your spec tho.
