I know of a lad with a Spesh FSR frame kicking about, and i have a Rocky Mountain Carve somewhere.

What size you looking for? More XC, Enduro, or DH/FR type frame?

eh somewhere between xc and downhill is that enduro?
i like the idea of large drop offs and hammering downhill sections.
i have a hard tail xc which is amazing but not great for really rough downhill.
what kind of price would your friend let the frame go for?

Aye Enduro = riding for long times over all kindsa carp :)

I dunno, probably not too much.

    what size you looking for?

that sounds nice. which FSR is it i think there are a few in the series?
i'm a size 60 on the roadie, think 19.5 on the mtb and i'm 6'1.5" that size?
i'm interested but at the same time its quite price dependent at the moment due to being an unemployed student.

I'm not sure which exactly, ill mail him to find out for you, but if i remember its probably a M frame :/ will check it out tonight when im over in his.

I reckon he;'d let it go for cheap, hes not riding it at the moment as he loves his Coiler :D In the same way that im not riding full sus and loving my HT again

    whats your price range

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 461 ✭✭NeilMcEoigheann

i really can't see it being more than 600 but i really don't know.
mountain bikes are not really like road bikes cos use changes their condition so much more.

you wont get anything decent or remotely good for 600 im afraid

i was afraid of that it makes my search rather futile..
although perhaps i'll just save and buy new
    cheers for all the comments.

    Hey,

I have a GT iDrive frame (large or medium, 2 available) I am selling.

Just bought a Stumpjumper frame and moved all the components over.

I bought the GT earlier this year. I think it is the 2008 model and I will be looking for €200 ono for it.

A friend of mine is looking at it this week, but if he doesn't bite, I'll let you know if you like.

    Barry

I could probably sort you out with a Decent full bounce. Brand new GT-idrive XCR5 frame 18" , Rockshox ario rear shock, recon 150mm forks up front. I could probably build you It up to a decent standard with new parts for around the 600-700 mark.

Let me know If your interested, If you just want the frame and the forks I could sort you out for around e300(they are brand new)
