    Hi, do any of you have any idea how to pick up romanian channels. Customer has a romanian box and all the bits. Any help would be hugely appreciated. Thanks a mil.

    Does he have a subscription card to go with it? Do you know what the provider is, if so?

    There's some Romanian subscription channels on Thor 1°W, and would need a 110cm dish (maybe 1m if lucky).

    If all the bits include a motor and a 1 metre dish and presuming he/she is in Ireland then they can get a lot on this list. With a fixed dish I think the best satellite is 16 East probably OK with 80 cm. I watch Favorit TV there now and again.

    If its any of these 1W,5E, 16e 39E, i would recommend 100cm to 110cm dish motorized
    a lot of the Romanians i have set up with channels over the last couple years in
    Co Wexford seem to change their tv provider regularly but 1 West seems a popular choice

    It was 1 West Scaller. I think the customer got a tad mixed up or forgot what he had before he moved, he thought it was 16 E.

    Anyway, it's all sorted. Pelisor2000 was good enough to contact me and go through it on the phone with the installer, thank you, that was very good of you :-)
