Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Saw this last night, have to admire the old girl and her attitude. Also the way in which she stuck it to garages that offered her lifetime guarantees, excellent stuff.

thats brilliant... and all documented... thats a full car history....

also fair play to the companies for continuing to provide back up for the lifetime warranties...

hopefully she will get many more miles out of it..

Similar Story about a 1989 Saab 900 witha million miles on the clock on the same engine with regular servicing. Although without a lifetime warranty

Pffft. Irv Gordon has done over 2.6 million miles on his '66 Volvo. Original engine too.

Ya, think about all the women he has killed in all those miles though. Bet old Rachel there hasn't killed anyone...Gaybo will have her on the ads next...even though she did say the car outlived her 3 husbands...hmmm...

    *suspicion*

Check out this months Car Mechanics magazine, there's an article about some fella's 700,000 mile Rover Montego which he has owned since 1993. It had major engine work at 350k however and is pretty rusty now.

The owner is pictured, he's about 4 foot tall and uses the Montego for his work as a courier, hence the big mileage.
