NPPR Tax

If you own one home but don't live in it, do you still have to pay this tax? I am forced to rent out my house as I can't sell it but had to move for a job (am renting the house I live in now). Is it if you own two houses that you must pay this tax or if it is that you dont live in the house?

Looks like you only pay the charge if you OWN more than 1 house.

I am pretty sure you are liable to pay the NPPR on the property you own - since it is not your "principal residence". It has nothing to do with the fact that you don't own another property.
