    AFAIK there is no connection between the two, not even in image inspiration.

    Aren't Kiss meant to be like 4 comic book characters? Each a different persona?

    AC got his image apparently from some all girl band also signed to Zappa's label in the late 60's, and also to help create a bit of sensationalism.

    Apparently 'Alice Cooper' was the name of some witch or something, and was the band's name, not his, until fans started calling him that. (Like the way people think Jay Kay is Jamiroquai, Debie Harry is Blondie etc).
