Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    (tomorrow night)

At DCC we have John McDonald who will be talking about the Nikon System. John was employed by Nikon until recently as a Technical Expert and can advise you how to get the best out of your Nikon Gear. If you shoot Nikon or are interested in doing so, then this will be a good night to attend.

This is the third in this series of talks. We have had Canon & Sony previously.

damn. I read this on November 16th.

    was it interesting?

It was a good night. John knows the system very well. It do go very late though.

Next Tuesday we have Guy Gowan presenting at DCC. :D

Due to the large numbers we had last time Guy came to DCC, this time it will be limited to Members Only & the doors will close when to room is full. So get there early.

The good news is that Malahide CC will also be having Guy at their meeting on Thursday 3rd December. They meet at the Grand Hotel in Malahide. There is a €5 entry charge to that meeting & they ask that people arrive at 7.50pm so that they can get the meeting going at 8pm sharp.

DCC has had a very serious flood. The good news is that the Photo's in the Gallery were not damaged.

The bad news is that there is a lot of damage. It will mean new flooring & ceilings.

As we only found out a few hours before the weekly meeting we were looking at cancelling but instead all went to Devitt's across the road for a change.

Hope to get the insurance claim sorted soon & repairs under way.
