Barenger in the last at Sandown. Has been bitterly disappointing over hurdles after looking the real deal when hacking up in a bumper. If he returns to form he could be very well handicapped first start in a handicap. Travelled well for a long way last time out before weakening on his first run of the season. Win single at 10/1.

Got word from a stable confidant for Our Island 1.30 Exeter . He has been trained for today and has his ground and distance . Top weight of 11-12 is a stiffener but trainer and jockey in good form. 13/2 generally available in shops but Ladbrokes only go 11/2 which is significant. Caveats apply as he has received bad tips as well as good ones from them previously

Just after realising Ballinahow lady was running in Navan earlier on in the 2:55. Came second at 20/1. This is a horse i've many times and is one 2 look out for in the future. Regret not checking my atr tracker. Could have made a few bob

I think HOLD THE STAR has a very good chance of getting in the 1st three and might win,while connections felt the horse was good enough running in class 4, it is now in class 6 (albeit it for the 2nd time) I think the distance might be the key factor, plus the drop in grade.

FABULOUS FRED, should come on for jumping the fences, the distance will be fine but most important, if it stays soft, the horse will react very well on the ground.

I don't normally give reasons, it is why I post in the fancies, but on the big races once the guys set up a thread I will give a reason and to date I am not doing to bad,

2 winners out of three big races.

My way of looking at a race is who can beat the favorite and I go from there.
