in the 3.35 at wetherby zakhiera spirit has a good chance of winning on debut. a lovely bred horse, she is a full sister to megastar and megasue who both won on their debuts. expected to win today.

    price is 5/2

    well done
did it well in the end

a horse i fancy for today is ballycracken in the 2.45 at newbury.

ballycracken showed very good form in 2 point-to-points but has somewhat disappointed in 4 NH runs since then. Today though conditions look ideal as he races off a very lenient looking 112 and the Geraghty lad hops aboard for the first time.

its 18/1 and i feel is worth a little dabble e/w, kept to small stakes.

    13.35 Newbury - Bueno Vista 11/1

Got that price last night, not sure what it is now.

Denny Crane is running tonight in Dundalk again, should be worth a bet.

Gary O'Brien has picked Denny Crane. 4/1 now.

think these three all have very good chances especially clear praise
that should be shorter after its last performance over the course

    LINGFIELD 14:00 NURSERY HANDICAP 7f
    26-11-2010 14:00
    Win or each way
    Poyle Judy @ 7/2 (GP)
    LINGFIELD 13:25 HANDICAP (0-70) 5f
    26-11-2010 13:25
    Win or each way
    Clear Praise @ 3/1 (GP)
    LINGFIELD 12:50 SELLING STAKES 1m 4f

King Of Aran /DENNY CRANE/Star Of Aragon

in the last 3 at Dundalk

    1.30 south kingaroo (3.15)

think this one is way overpriced and could see it going off around 6/4 or
    shorter tomorrow
won last two very easily over c&d and i see the same tomorrow

the 2nd fav on the exchanges is fashionable gal (4.0)
in its last four runs it unseated at the start last time
beaten easily at 2/7 before that and threw away what
looked like a winning chance at donny 4 runs back.

3rd fav is yossi whom my selection beat easily on its
    last two runs (6.4)

that leaves maslak (6.8) as the one danger to my pick
but the way kingaroo won over c&d i find it hard to see past it.

    3.30 ubenkor 9/4
same could apply to this fella
was well backed all day when winning very easily last time over
course and distance when always travelling well and pulling
    away late on.
I havent had a chance to look at the opposition yet though so
im going in a bit blind with this one.

    2.15 final drive 9/4
    3.40 rio royale 3/1
will hopefully make up my winning yankee :pac:

Southwell 1.00 Lenny Bee - would prefer a bigger price but...

    EDIT:
Its a goer at 4/1. My bet is on

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,838 ✭✭✭Nulty

    Southwell 1.30 Shifting Gold

He'll be short but deservedly so. Will look at the prices in the morrow

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,838 ✭✭✭Nulty

    Lingfield 2.40 Whispering Spirit

fav could win it easily, but Whispering Spirit has a brilliant record at 7f and will be up in the pace. Requisite looks a little over priced at 7/1 too but too risky

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,838 ✭✭✭Nulty

I have Suntrap (Lingfield 15.10) in my horse tracker but never got to look at the race so im not backing it. just sticking it in here for the record

    Typical. Threw a couple of quid on Whispering Spirit (2nd @ 7/1) and Requisite (3rd @ 12/1) and didn't back Suntrap (1st @ 4/1)

Bad draw actually did hamper his chances. They were strung out and he was much too far back to win but ran on well for 6th pushing on 4th. Better draw next time may see him sit a bit deeper and give him a better chance.

    Nemo Spirit

Dascombe won the first race with Julius Geezer and his horses are flying since the start of the year. Hopefully enough rain fell for Nemo Spirit but is a very consistent runner when geting his ground.

    .5pt EW @ 14/1

Goes hurdling today but pretty short for his debut over obstacles. I'd like to see him win. Got Richard Johnson on board - an obvious plus

I like Hollo Ladies ew in the 2.30 at Southwell 8/1

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,018 ✭✭✭TheMilkyPirate

I do the odd big stake treble and i'll be doing one tomorrow, Looks very solid to me:

Hurricane fly 8/13: Easily brushed aside solwhit last time and will be doing so again i feel.

Zaidpour 1/2: Oozed class in the royal bond, Expected to be a cut above these.

Big zeb 13/8: Champion chaser who made a pleasing return to action when beating golden silver cosily who re-opposes today as his main market rival.

Pays a little over 5/1, And hopefully pays for my new years too :pac:

backed hurricane last twice against solwhit but ill give it a miss at odds on.
Then again he should beat him again so ill prob do the treble with golden silver
    being the odd one out
zaidpour looks a steering job and
Prob wont be much between big zeb and him but i liked the way golden
    silver won last time out

Golden silver is one of my favourite horses really liked the way he won last time out too but he won as well as he should have really.

Big bucks yes not so much punchestowns, Not that i don't think he'll win but pride of dulcote has some strong hurdles form and was impressive on his chasing debut so could be a possible scupperer to my plans!

Big bucks at 1/5 doesn't really light my eyes up either as in regards to value although he's as close to a sure thing as you'll find in racing really.

every tipster seems to be going for big zeb but ill stick to my guns
wasn't so long ago all these tipster were sweet on solwhit v hurricane tho

Last €15 in my PP account is going on a Lucky31 of

Hurricane Fly, Zaidpour, Big Zeb, Punchestowns, Big Bucks.

Only the 3 Leopardstown ones that I'm questioning,

    Perfect Smile -v- Zaidpour
All the Field have a decent chance against Big Zeb imo.
    Solwhit -v- Hurricane Fly
