    3:00 Southwell
    Black Noir @9/2

Have not had a bet on horse in about a month, but...

Sam Spade EW 20/1 (SOUTHWELL 14:00)

Saw this in my tracker just now - had it in there a while. Horse has 4 wins on 1 mile/standard, 3 of those wins were on todays course. Last two outings were shorter distances, and did not suit. 1m Winrate = 36%. Southwell Winrate = 43%. Standard Winrate = 25%

The stats for all other courses, distances are terrible - IMO this horse likes this course, ground, distance and should go well only on this trifecta.

Last time he won on Standard / 1m / Southwell, was 19th May, and his SP was 7-2 that time, so unless something BAD happened in the last 7 months I am willing to fo EW @ 20/1

Tarooq Lingfield 2.30. A useful performer all round but is a specialist at these aw 6f sprints. May not be 100% after a break but I reckon if a bit of money comes in for him he is well worth a punt. The horse has landed a touch or to in the past and I might go in a second time if the vibes are strong

I had a good look at the 6 20 Kempton and it looks a very competitive contest. With prizemoney of 37,350 for the winner we can take it that they will be doing their best.

The Godolphin horse Solidarity is all the rage and though the 3 year old is improving I believe he is handicapped up to his best and will have too much weight.
A horse he beat,Double Discount may be able to turn the tables on 11 lb better terms and is twice the price at 8s.Last time out Solidarity beat Double Discount a length and looked as if he could have won by more.

However Double Discount was ridden from the front that day despite being ridden from behind when winning all its races. Looks to be laid out for this and is worth a decent ew bet.

One that could run well at a very big price is Master Paver, from the shrewd A Baily yard who has form over further and if there is a strong pace might be worth a small saver and should be running on at the finish.

One that did us a turn at 20s,Gretzky runs again in the 8 10 Dundalk.Hes Our Music would be my fancy for this unless I hear Gretzky is fancied,in which case he will be well worth backing.I will post it in the tips thread when I get the news on it.

The gamble on Club House in the 3.30, 10s into 3s fav looked doomed when he was last to leave the stalls and had serious ground to make up, came strong then on home straight to be beaten by a length in a Hands And Heels race where a few cracks of the whip could have helped. One to keep on side next time out I say. Off a nice mark now!

Some gamble on the Crowley horse in the 5.15 at Kempton. 14/1 this morning into 3/1 now. Not backing it mind you but looks like a few fellas are on big each way anyway

Got it right with Double Discount beating the fav but only finished 6th so no money for me,need hes our music to win the 8 10 Dun to finish ahead.Gretzky does not appear to be fancied, though a drift in the market does not always mean that one is not fancied with these boys,

    Cheltenham 2:10 - Majordomo Hospitality Handicap Chase(Grade 3) (1) 3m2f

CHARINGWORTH was an impressive winner here at Cheltenham last month in an amateur riders' race and a six pound penalty may not be enough to prevent a follow up tomorrow. Amateur rider Harry Bannister has built up a lovely relationship with this 11 year old gelding and he has ridden this horse three times at Cheltenham. Of those three runs, he has had one win and finished second twice, so clearly the combination love it here. He stayed on dourly up the hill last month to beat Benbens by just under four lengths and the Nigel Twiston-Davies horse was travelling really well in the Becher Chase at Aintree last weekend when he unseated rider, which bodes very well for the form of that race.

The Ould Lad looks a very progressive horse for the Tom George yard but he is prone to making the odd jumping error and in order to win tomorrow he will need to brush up in that department. He notched his second win in a row at Leicester last time out, beating Winged Crusader by 8 lengths but he will have a 9 pound rise in the weights tomorrow as a consequence. Another interesting contender is the Philip Hobbs trained Lamb Or Cod, who looks overpriced at the current 12/1 given the form of the yard. The horse was pulled up last time out but prior had shown a lot of ability, including here at Cheltenham where he has won. If he were to come back fit and well, he would have a serious each-way shout.

Hadrian's Approach is another talented but quirky horse and if he is on a going day he could take a bit of beating but he is prone to making a mistake or two. He also might be lacking a little bit of fitness in the closing stages as he has been off the track 230 days. Paul Nicholls and Sam Twiston Davis are flying right now so Coward's Close also comes into the reckoning. He was beat a short head by Allthekingshorses at Wincanton back in May but again he could need the run, fitness has to be taken on trust. One horse that won't lack fitness is Charingworth, and I firmly believe he will take a bit of beating if he is in contention half a mile from home. He will stay up the hill strongly in the hands of Harry Bannister.

    Charingworth - 2 Points WIN @ 8/1 Betfair Sportsbook

    Goolagong Girl 5.50 18-1 ew
Has been trying to get off the mark, led in last two outings.
I think it will place here if not win.

One bet today other than the one posted in the tips thread,Dream Scenario 7oc Wol.
From the Mel Brittain yard this one has a real good ew chance and as the stable is in form
a good run is almost guaranteed.

Normally wary of putting up my fancies, but here goes...

Hi Princess in the 18:15 Dundalk around 4/1 currently
Last run (C&D), reared up slightly coming out of the stalls and lost a few lengths.
Was flying at the finish and just failed to get to the winner( who has had a win and a second since)

If Hi Empress can get a decent start, hopefully she will be thereabouts at the finish
