Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Insurance on LHD car

I'm insured on my father policy (fully comp on a 07 toyota) commercial. I want to drive a LHD car for a week here in Ireland. What are my options regarding insurance, I'd be looking for 3rd party fire and theft on the LHD car.

The easiest way would be to have the owner of the car name you on their policy.

I think in most countries the insurance is on the car, not on the driver, so if the car is insured abroad then it is unlikely the OP would be insured in Ireland.

If the car's registered abroad and the OP's an ROI resident then they can't legally drive it in any case.
