Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why not use task manager and right click process and select End process tree

Something from Process Utilities would work - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb795533.aspx

I've scripted a batch file with Pskill to do something similar before

If a process can't be killed in Process manager, use "kill" from the NT Resource Kit (or similar kit for versions of Windows you have). search on Microsoft.com

pskill and procexp will kill apps both system internals tools on microsofts site

hotkey ? ctrl-esc should bring up taskmanger
or setup a shortcut on the desktop to the terminate app and add a hotkey to it in the link properties
