Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi Guys,

Does anyone know what computers can auto restart after power outage.

I want to run a PC as a server but if there is a power outage I want it to restart.

have you thought of using a UPS?

I believe apple machines can anyway, though not certain.

Most machines are capable of this. Its a very basic featureset in the BIOS. Every machine I ever owned has been able to do this. Not something I had to shop around for.

If youre shopping for a new machine you want to run as a server though: home servers can be had as cheap as most desktops now anyway. and they do the job of a server better, being servers :) check HP and Dell for their line of Home Servers.
