Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am a current Mature Student - are you going to the Mature Student orientation week? I will be speaking at it.

You should get material in the next week or so. You will find the Orientation week very very interesting, lots of different speakers and excellent tips. You will get to know some of the other mature students in your class as well. What course you going into too?

well Mr.President, you say you haven't gotten any info from the college yet, did you get an invite to the mature student summer school?

I was 21 in first year in EPL and I always got taken for a mature student, I used to deny it furiously. I loved the lectures and my class were great craic. It's a great course and the lecturers are all very friendly and approachable, don't worry about fitting in at all and make sure you get some great class parties going.

    Hiya

I'm going to DCU to study Multimedia. I'm 33 too but I don't care that I'm out of touch with youth culture - have you heard some of that music? it's cack. I believe the '80's are 'in' so youth culture is going to look like people you used to go to school with I imagine. If you're heading to the orientation thing I'll be one looking slighty terrified and very confused. But hopeful like!!!
