Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Europa League FTA on Five

    Just a heads up that Five have the rights for the first choice match on every match night of the Europa League for the next 3 years.

    It runs right from the group stages all the way to the final, so that's loads of free-to-air football. :)


    BTW anyone with a satellite and who is unsure of how to tune in Five, there's plenty of info here.

    Watched the first half of the Villa game just to see whats 5s coverage is like, Twas okay, nice to have a few new faces/voices.

    scanning through the results there i thought this one was brilliant:

    Liberec 0-3 FC Dinamo Bucuresti R (agg 3 - 3) Dinamo Bucuresti win 9-8 on penalties

    both teams winning 3 nil away from home and then 20 penalties!

    Yeah, watched the Everton game yesterday and most of the Villa match on 5.

    Decent coverage I have to say. Pat Nevin and Kevin Ratcliffe were pretty good as pundits/commentators and I liked Colin Murray as the host.

    I think probably any games involving British teams in the Europa League will be covered on either Five, the regional ITV channels, or even Setanta. Should be possible to see them all I guess.

    On another note: celticfc, why do you not post on the Celtic thread? :confused:
