Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

what to feed pedigree weanlings...angus cattle over the winter..
heifer weanlings (3)will be indoors all going well, slats! getting grass silage! what else would u give them+how much?will be penned with 2 yearling heifers..

then am go to winter the bull weanling(3)outdoors...on aftergrass, that a 2nd cut of round bales came off,2 weeks ago--and got nitrogen last week...is coming along nicely-willbe a good crop of grass, come end of October--when i plan to wean, all going well.there all march/april calves!have about 1+ mths grass ahead...they will prob be strip graze-ADVICE THAT? field is about 3 acres just..prob offer round bale silage also..what would u feed them..as plan to have them ready for pedigree sales next may/june!!

fed flake maize+beef nuts last yr to the bulls(5lb a day),they were indoors--didn't do great, but silage was poor!
    heifers were sold...

debating about giving the heifers mayb a mixture of flake maize/barley..mayb only 2lb each..
and the bulls flake maize/barley/beef nuts-mayb 3+lb each..
think by silage is better quailty tis year....better be!!
small operation--so want to keep costs down!
    Any advice--willing to listen....
