Canon mains adapet

    Hi all, I dont know if Im in the right forum, so please move on if you think it's not.
    A friend has a Canon V60 camcorder, but has lost the mains adapter (Canon CA-550K Power Adaptor). The problem is that Canon are looking for €90 for a replacment which is a rip off. Does anyone know if a suitable adapter (cheaper) that will work just as good.

    Dunno if this has already been sorted but I know Maplin have a multi adaptor power supply for a very reasonable price, Could try that...
