Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Happy with the win but not happy with the performance.

Very sloppy in passing and the midfield wasn't quick enough, or strong enough, in the tackle.

United need to shape up, quickly.

Yet again the officals gift wrap United the win. No matter how bad the united midfield is there'll still have a great chance at the title thanks to the refs this season.

Looks like that Wenger - Ferguson war is gonna be re ignited.:p

What the waving? I'm sure no other fans would do such a disgusting thing.

Lets be honest here, United deerved nothing from the match, they were so far bekow par it was shocking. Evra, Vidic and Fletcher were immense, the rest need to buck their ideas up big time.

Shows why Arsenal wont be challenging for the title come the end of the season, clearly the better team but when something goes wrong they completely lose it.

They should have won that game but bottled it.

    United look poor.

Chucky If you don't get to see the replay let me know and I'll try and locate it.

BTW I did say that Arshavin's should have been a peno too

    Agreed.
I think Wenger was asking for it, going standing right in front of the Utd fans.
He's a stubborn frenchie when he wants to be.
In all fairness he's had a hard week, i think even Fergie would understand that.

I said the chants , NOT THE WAVING, we all know what chants they are, he always seems to get them at OT

Very good performance from Arsenal. Played some wonderful football and on another day you score several goals.

no, two sides played football. Otherwise it would have been given as a 3-0 walkover.

going to be a very tough game

if i was offered a draw now,id take it

but I think with Fab out, makes utd slightly favourites imo

so im going for a 2-1 utd

    ;)

It's gonna be a long season for United. Look average. Midfield is so poor compaired to Chelsea or Arsenal.

Arsenal played some nice stuff and deserved at least a draw. Well 3 points is 3 points....Wenger at the end :D

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,209 ✭✭✭Redzer7

Yeah right i'll rephrase that, Only One side played decent football.

And you are spot on on both counts.

Uniteds passing was poor today particulaly in the first half but they always looked like scoring. United win without producing their top form, I'm happy with that.

Have to disagree. They did not look like scoring at all.

Penalty earned from stupidity by Almunia, and one of the most ridiculous OGs you'll ever see. It wasn't until late on when Arsenal were pushing forward that United actually looked likely to score.

Im guessing the chants were the ones he gets from the Spurs fans sometimes, not sure if im allowed post the chant but it goes like this; Wenger is a __ (word for liking children) because of the way he has lots of young players.

Fletch was superb today I thought

man of the match for me anyway

Rooney "The keeper took my legs, so i had no option".

Except he got the timing of his dive wrong and was on his way down already.

Don't think United were decent imo they were always capable of scoring but
they didn't even have to score legit goals today, feel sorry for Diaby,
Good Display from The Arsenal :D Bit more clinical and we would have took it.
