Its a photo finish between to two of them, Master and the Jusctice album but "To Live is to Die" off the Justice album gets it past the post first! Its metallica best song IMHO!

Don't judge an album by it's cover! :pac:

I have to go with Valley Of the Damned by Dragonforse.

Christ, here we go again with a "best x of all time" or a "top ten x's". It's personal opinion so it really won't matter in the long run!

So what I'm really trying to say is that we're all wrong. :D

(ok to keep on some semblance of topic I'll put down Kill by Cannibal Corpse anything by Death certainly no album by Metallica should even be considered.

^ See how much of a complete pr!ck I look like now? Thanks "Top X" threads, thanks a bunch!)

    The Subliminal Verses - Slipknot

    The Blackening - Machinehead

    Blackwater Park - Opeth

Based purely on what I listened to the most:

    Reign in Blood - Slayer
    Focus - Cynic
Anthems To The Welkin At Dusk - Emperor
    Human - Death
Hatebreeder - Children of Bodom (controversial one there...)

Those are the ones that stick out the most. AJFA certainly gets an honorable mention though. Sorely under-appreciated 'lica album, probably their best.

Does everyone have to post giant, table raping images of the album art? Can you literally just not say what you think is the best?

For about the past 8 or 9 years my favouite album has been Children of Bodom's Follow the Reaper. No matter how my personal preferances for anything in life fluctuate, Follow the Reaper remains undoubtedly my favourite album. It is just so undeniably awesome, from the first moment I heard it I was in love with it and I haven't got remotely bored with it over time.

The one thing this thread does is give me ideas of other bands to listen to, now I know I wont listen to all of them as I find anything Dream Theatre like to be absolute noise but I'll try some of the others.

    My opinion

    Iron Maiden Powerslave

Remedy Lane by Pain of Salvation is possibly my favourite, gets ahead of others due to the fact its a concept album really.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Really? Of the four albums I have I think Scarsick has impressed me the least, a bit too politically minded for my liking. Disco Queen is a great song though :D

Yeah that seems to be the general attitude but i like it... I think it's got more great songs than Remedy Lane or TPE. Still have to hear BE and Entropia.

I would put permanent Waves ahead of 2112, and Sabotage is Sabbath's finest moment.
