Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Right, Ive a dell inspiron 1525 which has no MIDI port, so im wondering will the laptop have any problems identifing a MIDI mixer, like a Behringer DDM 4000, if I use a 'MIDI to USB' cable. Also, if I successfully manage to map the MIDI to the likes of Ableton or Traktor will I need to buy a soundcard?, or shall I be able…

Ive a dell inspiron 1525 which has no MIDI port, so im wondering will the laptop have any problems identifing a MIDI mixer, like a Behringer DDM 4000, if I use a 'MIDI to USB' cable.

Also, if I successfully manage to map the MIDI to the likes of Ableton or Traktor will I need to buy a soundcard?, or shall I be able to work solely through the mixer, by feeding out all the sound through the different channels etc.
