Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just a quick query - did anyone every go backpacking for a year with an SLR? If so how did you insure it? I've tried various combinations of home and travel insurance but none cover you worldwide.

Any help would be much appreciated.....

A friend did it with an old Canon 300 and a a 24-80. Meant a hell of a development bill when he got home but I'm sure if you haggled you could get a fair deal on 30/40 rolls!

And with a camera and lens that cost you less than the price of a night out in Dublin, is there really any point insuring it?
