    Don't think the fee would have been as high if Jamie O'Hara hadn't gone on loan as well (until January).

    Very strange. He signs a new contract and is immediately shipped out on loan;

    I like him. I think he's got potential in the middle. Battles hard, can shoot and pass, and keeps going. A loan is a good idea, particularly if we're able to bring him back if we need to, though hopefully we'll buy one of the CM's we've been linked with before the window closes.

    Best of luck to Boateng,didn't think we would get 4 mil for him, that's another 6+ mil back in the coffers this week between him and chimbo,could buy Petrov for that or less.

    Bit of an enigma, Boetang, came with a huge reputation, German young player of the year etc, but never showed any of it at Spurs. Good to get the money back, although he'll probably be banging in the goals for Bayern Munich in the CL in 4 or 5 years time!
