Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    alright chaps,
im a long time collector of records and still have my 1210 and old 1200 at home, but because of family and house commitments its only know that i can start getting a few vinyl purchases again... my question is where to get stuff online as the prices ive seen here in dublin are disgusting to say the least. Ive tried amazon but alas more and more im finding that the various 'used' sellers dont ship to ireland?
so where do you guys recommend?

    thanks in advance

I'll second the discogs.com suggestion, very good site and selection is pretty first rate. Never like Gemm, but worth a look....also try Musicstack.com

htfr are probably ok for new vinyl, but I'd be very wary of their used stock. I'm talking from experience too, I used to buy stuff from there and, for one, they don't grade their stock so you can end up with some really shocking quality vinyl (I received some records that were almost unplayable). Secondly, it is well established that a lot of the so-called represses sold on their website are bootlegs. For example, I bought what was advertised as a genuine repress of Bam Bam - Where's Your Child on Desire Records only to find out recently that its a complete bootie. In that case, it was a decent quality bootleg, but I've heard that others sold on the site sound like a recording of someone eating crisps!

o yeh totally agree man, bought a tonne of supposed original copies that turned out to be white label bootlegs with like 4 other tunes on it too. i was happy though, cuz they were normally decent classics thrown in, one example, picked up gat decor passion, came with trancewave 1 on the flipside..was delighted!!!
