Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ok, up until recently it was always advised to never wear tights with sandals. However, I think it is acceptable now and even features in the major magazines such as Elle and Vogue.

I need a pair of black shoes but can't find one I like or that don't hurt. I've seem black sandals I love but is it really ok to wear them with tights?

Sandals with tights, esp flesh coloured tights, never look good. You can get away with wearing black or bright coloured tights with peep toe shoes but that's about as far as I'd take it.

Think we need to know a bit more about the sandals... have they heels? are they like peeptoe strappy ones?

http://chicisimo.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/dof-redminidress.jpg....I think it can work, sometimes, maybe even with kitten heel peeptoe style sandals if you want a vintage-look...but only if it's black tights or coloured ones..not flesh coloured granny ones

as long as they are not flesh coloured i'd go for it. i think it can look really cute, especilally if they are summer sandles with thick winter tights-its a great autumn look!

I have to agree! I really like this look and I've yet to see someone who has gotten it wrong. I saw a girl wearing a pair of purple sky-high sandals with dark purple tights and it looked great.

They are like the sandals below. I would only be wearing them with black, gray or dark purple tights.

Just so you know, marks and spencer's sell open toe flesh coloured tights. I've never used them so I don't know what they're like but they're an option!

I think it is quite acceptiable to wear them with flesh colour tights. Most of the top hosiery brands should have something to suit. Go for it girl!
