Beta menu preferences issue.

    For some reason the menu preferences I select on the beta menu don't stick for me. If I change them, the next time I reload the page the defaults are still selected. I'm using windows 7 RC and google chrome 3.0.195.10.

    Have you cookies fully disabled? As far as I know, the new menu preferences work with cookies, so if you've them disabled, every page-load will reset the menu to its default.

    Nope. Cookies are enabled. Cookies have to be enabled to even use the menu.

    Maybe try clearing the cookies for Boards.ie. They would have changed a couple of times, though the last change would have been months ago.

    Yeah I tried that and it didn't solve it. I think the problem only happened after I cleared my cache, cookies etc. I might try uninstalling and reinstalling chrome later.

    Bit of a nuclear option; can you post the value of the cookie "bbcascade_options"? That's what determines your menu preferences.

    I just realised that this only happens when I have everything disabled. If at least one of the options is ticked it seems to work fine. The moment I untick them all and save then the menu goes back to default settings. The content for bbcascade_options is 218. I'm not sure if that's the data you are looking for.

    Ah, ok, can reproduce that one. I must have missed putting something in version control.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
