Lots of confused people pulling up outside Court Place this evening.

It's been moved to the new/replacement branch at Shamrock Plaza.

Is Dinn Rí really the next nearest ATM?

Dinn rí is v often out of service. The PTSB and AIB are between Shamrock sq and Dinn rí alright, but that's no good if you want an advice slip.

Pulled up at the Pass machine on court place yesterday myself, Ended up going back up town and using the one beside Centra in the centre of town. That ATM was always handy there. Is the bank gone from there as well?

It will be a pain for business on Dublin street like Umbertos and Hennessys that don't do cards.

this is of no use if you're driving but, If you're walking .... just walk from Court place, up college street and you come out at AIB. Not a massive distance really.

An eagle-eyed local councillor has pleaded with Bank of Ireland to reconsider the move, which has effectively left the top of Carlow town cash-strapped.

    http://test.carlow-nationalist.ie/tabId/511/itemId/5556/Bank-rejects-call-to-replace-ATM-on-Dublin-Street.aspx

I wish a few more citizens would be a bit more eagle-eyed, the number of people who've managed to make it up two floors to Unum while looking for the bank is unreal.
