Most of them seem to be hacked when you install them. They have different startup sound and pics. Some take away a load of crap that you dont need so you save memory on the phone. Must have a proper look around.

Anyone having problems with the radio on their N97. On mine, i turn on the radio and its fine for about 5 seconds and then it seems like its tuning to another station and all you get is static. Same happens when you switch station, ok for a few seconds then all of a sudden fuzz.......

    Anyone any ideas??

Is your phone unbranded? Ya might need to change the product code to get the euro firmware.

How do I switch of ''Auto Rotate''? Can't find the settings anywhere

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,699 ✭✭✭samhail

    Menu > Settings > Phone > Sensor Settings > Turning control > auto-rotate display

Yeah it's branded N97 mini with Vodafone. What would be the product code to change it to the Euro firmware

turned mine off after a week or two of cracking up trying to look at things and it automatically changing. thought I would be able to find the balance point just before it rotates haha.

Saw that but it's no good. It's just a link to the Google Reader page! I'm after something like Reeder on the iPhone that displays the feeds without any gusto, or having to go through a browser.

I think I had an RSS feed as a widget at one stage. As far as I know once the feed was saved in the Nokia Web Browser favourites, it was available as a widget when you go to add one to the home screen.

I'll see if I can get it again and post to confirm whether or not it works as I remember.

Ok just tried it there now (yes I'm bored).

It is a web feed that is saved to the Nokia Web Browser. So in the browser go to Options -> Go to -> Web feeds and then add the feeds you want. Then when they are saved you can add them as a widget to the homescreen and the updates should pop up without having to be in the browser.

Hope it works, haven't left a feed on as a widget to confirm it updates.

Just checked now and if you set the options to update under the browser then the feed should update itself, again I haven't fully tested this.
