Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Pity I have sky already, but all it says in their T&C's is:

An existing customer must get a new customer to subscribe to any Sky TV packages from €21.50 - €71.50 a month. Only available by calling 0818 719011 and not by any other means e.g. via a Retail outlet. New customer cannot be in the same household and must be a residential customer in the Republic of Ireland. Limited to one per new customer household. €50 cheque sent within 30 days of receipt of first subscription payment from new customer. Existing customer must remain an active subscriber to qualify. Offer excludes Sky group employees and agents cannot be offered commercially.

the problem with this offer means basically you cant avail of any of the other offers like free sky plus box and whatever else is on, i recently signed up to sky and by going through this method was costing me more than what we both would of got, so whats the point?what am i missing?

i signed up to sky last week using this method and it is costing me €49 for the HD box and no installation. I have no phone line but since i wanted multi room and couldn't have the lovely lady at sky said she would not charge me the manual set up fee of€37.50

so basically all i paid was €49 and i'll get a check for €50 so im up a euro lol .

She did manage to charge me the manual setup fee "by mistake" but i rang them and they refunded it no problem.
