Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I would have cloned out (your?) shadow to the bottom left corner, but i like it

Apart from the shadow I think it is perfect, gorgeous shot, did you use a filter for the lights or was that just natural??

...and a bit tighter cropping on the RHS for perfect symmetry ie. the bins or 'silver objects'. :o
    Nice looking photo ;-) ;)

I'd move about 4.5 foot to the right and a touch lower for perfect optical symmetry. Bring the light post that is at the end of the bridge into the centre of the walkway, then the light reflection on the bridge would guide the eye easier, mine keeps pulling to the left.
Also if you took this position you could easily obscure the other 7 lights that are around the bridge. They'd move behind the cantilevers.

    Nice colours.

I agree with HK, it should be lower.
The sky is not appealing and the shadow is also annoying
The lack of lights on the bottom right of the bridge is a bit too

Nice shot. I've done it myself before but with a lousy cheap digital camera so the result was pretty poor. A friend also took that same shot but then changed it to Black and white. Looked very snazzy.

Having a nicely place bollard so you can take a shot without worrying about blurry results is quite handy. Has anyone found any other natural tripods around Dublin?

thats actually a couple that had just stepped off the bridge as the pic was taken, im surprised i actually got a clear shot of the bridge as it was fairly heavy with people crossing it.

no filter on the lights at all.

white balance......and maybe a little less exposure??

Like I said earlier I was using a Kodak digital camera for around 160 euro without control over the exposure so I think the results are good for that.

I had to use the camera in fireworks mode or someting to trick it into keeping the shutter open. Luckily I've since got a daycent DSLR.
