Was in our local the other night and an irish band were playing. They played a song that i never heard before. I cant realy remember the chorus exactly but i remember it mentioned a load of beer brands ''whiskey and the vodka, then the smithwicks and the harpick and then the pint of stout'' now thats the way i remembered it - bear in mind i had a few pints. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
The name of the song is 'Delerium Tremens'.You'll find it on one of Christy Moores older cds.Great Song.

'Good bye to the port and Brandy to the Vodka and the stag,
the Swithwick and the harpic, the bottled draught and keg,
As I sat lookin up at the Guinness add I could never Figure out,
How yer man Stood up on the surfboard after 14 pints of stout'..............................................

The above lyrics are from memory and may not be 100% correct.
