I went to go play some SF last night and noticed this had come out. I downloaded the I3d version from their dutch mirror and got 500k speeds and instant dl too.

Im glad they have made the armoured fury and EU expansions free now. Even though i did pay for them when they came out the died out fast and now I get to play them all over again. I went on for a round or two last night and got to play some EU, I havent played it in ages.

New map is not too bad either, good to see more china maps in the game. For the hard core BF player out there this expansion really only means 1 new map, I had already well played the other 7.

Does these patches work if you only have the original game?

Anybody have a link to a patch from 1 - 1.5? Please? Thanks in advance.

Grab the download from one of our ranked server hosts and mirror sites, You will need Battlefield 2 updated to v1.41 before you can install this update (get the full 1.41 update from http://www.fileplay.net/file/249/battlefield-2-patch-v1-41-full-client-patch):

There is no 1.0 -> 1.5, need to go via 1.41

Ah nice thanks for the info, I am downloading the 1.41 patch now

I downloaded 2 versions of patch 1.5 from the above post but they are only 5KB and 2.5KB retrospectively. I guess these are not good?

Is there another link for the proper patch? Thanks guys.
