work/travel in holland?

apologies to the mods if there is a more suitable forum for this topic...me and a mate of mine are thinking about moving to holland for a while to try to let the recession blow over here for a while... I am a bricklayer and he is a chippie so work is scarce to say the least, thinking about holland maybe germany but…

apologies to the mods if there is a more suitable forum for this topic...me and a mate of mine are thinking about moving to holland for a while to try to let the recession blow over here for a while... I am a bricklayer and he is a chippie so work is scarce to say the least, thinking about holland maybe germany but preferred holland as the language barrier is not such a problem. some first hand experience would be welcomed, along with some advice. i would make the effort to start to learn the language as we seem to have enough work till jan 2010.thank you
