Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Do the scripts work from home? Eircom may be blocking them...

If they aren't working from home, post a link so someone can have a look.

They don't work from home, so I think Eircom are blocking them.
Here's one to glype for example.

I can't think of any other ways around this.

mandatorily, I should point out that bypassing company security measures is grounds for dismissal.

Serverside firewall rules are draconian and difficult to get around. Procies work if you can get to a proxy. But the only thing on the whitelist is the eircom site. So, thats a no go.

Maybe a USB o2 card is the way to go. Or as always, speaking with your employer about it.

The blocks are in place for a reason. Talk to your employer, or get your own net connection.
