    Hi all,can anyone help re. my network.Trying to get brothers dell laptop to work with my pc which has xp home.He has xp pro.ANYWAY Problem is that i can see his connection in mshome with mine but we get PERMISSION PROBLEMS and cant share files even though he can share my broadband!!

    1) How have you set up sharing?
    2) What are you trying to share?
    3) Are you having the same problem on both PCs?
    4) What is the exact error message?
    5) At what point to you get an error? Connecting to the other PC? Getting a folder listing? Reading a file? Modifying a file?

    More info please.....
