Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hi

im trying to set up this modem as wireless but from the data i got from the home page http://www.zyxel.com/web/product_family_detail.php?PC1indexflag=20040812093058&CategoryGroupNo=AC5783AE-9475-41AD-BDA5-0997187F44AA
    im confused.

I put the encryption level to WPA with tkip with a random password. I have the firewall on the modem on with everything set ti default. I have MAC address filtering on. Are these settings ok?

However when i turn off the SSID broadcast thingy i get either a clone of my network or 'Unnamed Network' when i try to reconnect-how do i fix this?

I am confused at your confusion? What exactly is your problem?

When you hide the SSID your computer will detect an ''unnamed network'' so when you click on this network to join you have to enter both the name of it and the password that you set up.

Ok when i have SSID turned on i see a one instance of my network under wireless signals-fair enough. When i have SSID turned off i get two signals-one from when i had SSID on before and another 'Unnamed network' signal. I tried to join and rename the new signal but when i do the previous signal is still there.

Would i be better of leaving the SSID on? is that risky?
