    does anyone know if there are jiving classes being held in athenry or tuam?
    suitable for a complete beginner with two left feet!

    Eamon cunniss used to do classes in Tuam. He moves around a bit. You might give him a ring and see if he's doing any in your area-even if he isn't currently, you might convince him to set up there for a while. I don't have his number handy, but he had some ads in the Connaught tribune recently with his number on them.
