I'm living beside the airport. Planes were circling the sky..can't land obviously. One thing I can say though, the area around Dublin Airport is ridiculously bright. I've lived here all my life and it's never been so bright. It looks almost like day around there! Brother drove around to check it out..he works in DAA

Reminds me of that welsh woman who called out the police. Says she saw this mysterious object in the sky. Turned out to be the moon. lights in Dublin mountains. Probably the stars!

Glad to hear our "visitors" have landed safely so...could do wonders for irish tourism if we have martians roaming dublin city :p

It's the lads from the motors forum testing their HID lights. ;)

  • Registered Users Posts: 213 ✭✭KenH

I saw them up the Stackstown road. They were above what appeared to be dense forest. Didn't seem any reason for them to be there but that doesn't mean they were UFOs. Here's some pictures for those interested (one's a bit shaky). The left light appeared pinkish to the eye while the right one blue and they didn't move at all.

Edit: Actually I just looked at the area on Google Earth and I'd guess they were over Stackstown Golf Club.....so floodlights.
