    Hi, Im 18 and thinking of applying for a gun license...just a few questions i would like cleared up from people who are familiar with the processes.
    to start im thinking of starting with a .22 as my father advised me....but im going to work at sea soon for around 18 months and will only be home every 4 months for a few weeks...when im successful with obtaining a license and firearm how long does the license last....and when it expires do i have to sell the firearm if i decide not to renew the license???

    and if you guys have any other advise on starting out it would be much appreciated!!
