Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just ordered a refurb from UK, hoping that will mean it wont have any autofocus issues. Could have got it new for same price from HK but I hear most people send them back for calibration anyway

Anyone have experience with this lens?

Yep I got one 2nd hand on adverts.ie when I had the 450D. Got some fantastic portraits in the golden hour with no flash at f1.4, though I must add it tends to be better to use manual focus when shooting wide open so even if it has autofocus issues that isn't a total showstopper.

99% of the time its a camera that backfocuses rather then the lens. My sony a200 had severe backfocus issues that i only realised when i got a 50 f1.4. Its relativly easy to adjust the focus on most cameras when shootin against a marked target
